Practical tools for attention, organization, time management & self-regulation

At Triangle Sport & Performance Psychology, we offer executive functioning (EF) coaching to help individuals of all ages build the skills they need to thrive in school, work, and life.

Executive functioning is a set of mental skills that includes things like attention, organization, planning, time management, working memory, and emotional regulation. When these skills aren’t working efficiently, it can be hard to get started, stay focused, follow through on tasks, or adapt to change.

What is Executive Function Coaching?

Executive function coaching provides structured, supportive sessions designed to improve real-life function through individualized strategies. It is a collaborative process that helps clients understand their brains, identify barriers, and build tools that support independence, focus, and follow-through.

Coaching sessions may focus on:

  • Time management and daily routines

  • Task initiation and breaking down large projects

  • Organization of materials and workspace

  • Working memory and following multi-step directions

  • Emotional regulation and flexible thinking

  • Academic, work, or home life accountability
